Hi - I upgraded my early 2011 Macbook Pro to 10.8.2. Since then, Chrome crashes constantly. It will start and allow me to use it for a minute or two before it stops responding and I have to do a force quit on it. The strange thing is that Chrome works fine at home, but when I'm at work, I get this problem. At work, I have to connect through a fairly restrictive network, so I suspect there might be some sort of background process that might be trying to connect over a blocked port, or something like that.
Has anyone else seen a similar problem? I should mention that Safari works fine (but I need my chrome)

thanks!

Export and or sync your bookmarks etc
Remove Chrome
Reinstall fresh copy

Check to see if Adobe Flash is up to date...Shouldn't matter but with Chrome having flash built in... I have seen strange things happen

Also: Try Chrome beta

https://www.google.com/landing/chrome/beta/

Or Chromium

Try Canary if you like bleeding edge:

This worked!!! Delete Old Chrome install and reinstall app.

Thanks for the tips. I might have to try that, especially since I've stated seeing the same problem at home, too.
