The over saturation of the 4S sales makes it a buyers market. I recently sold my iPhone 4S 16gb to gamestop for $292 because I didn't want to deal with eBay, shipping internationally, and waiting a month to get my money.

On eBay you should be able to get a used 4S in perfect condition for $300-350 (16gb).

What kind of condition are you looking for it to be in and do you want all of the original contents of the box? I've seen many different offers, browse eBay/Craigslist.

If your budget is between $300-$350, then I would wait a little bit longer and see what the price drops to once the iPhone 5 is on the market.

And do you want it to be unlocked? If it doesn't matter either way for you, then get a new 4S from one of the major carriers and save yourself a lot of money.

Hmmm...

I've seen anywhere from $250 to $350, if the phone is in perfect condition.

I've always sold my previous gen phone (jailbroken, unlocked if possible) for $250.

Might be able to get more, but my only goal was to cover the cost of a subsidized new one.

Mine always sells fast, so I assume I'm on the lower end of the price spectrum.

$300-400

Same scale, just shift it $50.

Snap one up if you find something at $275 that's nearly mint.

depends 16GB you could probably find for 285+,32GB a fair price would be 350+, but again you have folks who just upgrades and are willing to sell it for $200 just to cover their fees , some just don't care to make a profit , I saw a few on FB for around 280 for 4S

That's always been me, but now that an iPhone 5 will cost me $450 until May 2013, I'll be hanging on to my 4S for a while.

No way I could sell a 16 gig 4S for $450...right?

IMEI unlock it and you can probably get 350iish assuming it's in flawless condition, i stretched my estimate for 32GB 4, I can get $300

Was definitely going to jailbreak and unlock. We'll be selling my wife's 4 to pay for her 5 ($200 subsidized). Maybe if we sell both the 4 and 4S jb/ul we can get enough to pay for a new 5 for me, too.

Might be worth it if only to get us both on the same upgrade cycle.

good luck, I'm under one of those AT&T MVNO PrePaid Plans, so I won't be getting an iPhone 5 for a while lol I cant justify spending around $700, thinking of going with a galaxy note or s3 , i'm bored with the 4 and want something different I can spend $400 but more than that cant do lol

Agreed. I can stomach $200+tax+$36 upgrade fee (total ********), but I start to get nervous as the price nears $300, regardless of what I just sold my previous phone for.
