So, my iPhone 5 sees my 10.8.2 MB Air but iTunes, the latest version, only recognizes my iPad. I did select, when the iPhone was plugged in, to sync over wifi. I've restarted my MBA and iTunes to no avail. Any ideas?

upgrade needed

Upgrade iTunes on the Macbook to 10.7 and then it will recognize the iPhone. I had the same issue last night.

Why wont my iTunes recognize my iPhone 5? (PowerBook G4 OS X 10.4.11)

My iPhone 5 will not connect with iTunes at all. It will charge when plugged in to the laptop.

The laptop I am using doesn't have enough RAM to run on anything above 10.4.11 so i have to use itunes 9.2.1.

I looked in my system profiler and my iphone is shown there.

It says it's connected to a "USB high-speed bus"

Here is the link to the specs of my laptop, it is the 15'' one. - http://support.apple.com/kb/SP38

ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.
