Good quality, Cheap Earphones?

Hi,

So I'm willing to pay £30, preferably under would be great, for some great sounding good quality earphones.

I've done some searching and seen the Sennheiser CX 300-II or, I'm thinking about the new Apple Earpods - I listened to some things through them, and they do sound pretty nice.

Any ideas? Thanks!

I bought these based on the reviews, and they did not disappoint. The bass is awesome, everything is crystal clear, and I heard details in songs that I'd never noticed before in 3,000 times of hearing them.

They also make a higher-end version of them that also seem to get great reviews, which I'll probably spring for if I ever lost or broke the ones I have.

It depends on your listening preferences. If you need a microphone, then the EarPods are pretty good. If you're an audiophile, then check out the Klipsch S4 or Sennheiser CX-300 II. If you care about looks, then Beats (outside of your price range though).

I'd say the EarPods are probably the best quality earphones for your price range. As for audio quality, it's above average. Also check out Monoprice's headphones/earphones. Good stuff for about half your price range.

The main review compares these to the Sennheiser's you mention. These are a bit cheaper but sound great. I mainly wear them riding my bike around. They have excellent noise reduction due to a good seal as opposed to noise reduction technology.

I also like how the headphone jack is a 90 degree connector. That lengthens the service life of headphones for my uses.

I love the EarPods, to me they seem like the best purchase I have made. The first time using them I was amazed at how great they sounded. They definitely have my vote

Beats are overpriced, and rubbish. Yeah, I have the Klipsch S4i's which are great. Thanks I'll look at the CX-200 II.

I have Sennheiser CX-300 and would buy them again.

Beats are a style accessory, but sound ain't really matching the price.

With any Sennheiser type (Beats too), be extra careful to buy authentic. There are plenty of fakes outside. Avoid any seller from China/HK. Stick to REAL known companies like Amazon (direct) or well known (online) retailers.

If you can stretch to £40 you can get some RHA earphones incl th romte, or £30 without. Its a Glasgow based company and i bought the Ca 200! In my honest estimation they are better than the Dr Dre Beads.

I will probably buy them for myself on my way back to the UK at Heathrow...

I can seriously say you wont be disappointed!

They sound great, and are really comfortable. I ride the light rail to school every day and can't hear the other people or the announcements (fantastic ha).

Says they're $45 USD. I think that's close to 30 pounds...
