Since updating to 10.8 from 10.6, I can no longer wake the displays using my mouse; I have to press a keyboard button. This is obviously not a huge deal, but it can cause unintended consequences because the keystroke message gets sent to the active application.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I had it for a while, don't know what changed, but a mouse click now works.
If you are concerned about keystrokes causing havoc, hit one of the shift keys (probably the safest).
