Two interesting observations:
1) DoS attacks on 6 major US banks occurred earlier this past week... appears like some Mideast group, surprisingly no media attention:

2) I wonder if this is related to the bug(?) in iCloud upgrading people to 25G until the year 2050?
It is in homage to the first such scandal, which brought down a president. I believe it was called "Watergate-gate".
Because of Bill Gates?
But seriously... I think it stems from Antenna-gate which I think was named the Watergate Scandal which was an attempt to cover up a break-in. Because Apple attempted to cover up the flaw of the iPhone 4 antenna it was named Antenna-gate.
Now, whenever Apple does something that to critic's eyes seems flawed, they just add a -gate at the end.
Could be that Apple is updating iTunes to 8.0, which seems like a pretty big upgrade. Apple's site said iTunes 8 was coming in October if international stores don't have the problem, then maybe they get iTunes 8 later. This is my bet.
