I recently bought a used AT&T iPhone 4 from a friend who upgraded to an iPhone 5, but before they boxed it up and shipped it to me they wiped it using an iTunes restore and, in the process, upgraded the phone to iOS 6.0.
Is it at all possible to downgrade to 5.1.1 without having been able to save the previous SHSH blobs? Is there any trace of them somewhere on my friend's computer from previous upgrades/restores (he never had it jailbroken and thus never had the SHSH blobs saved to the Cydia servers)? Can someone else's SHSH blobs be edited to be used for mine?
Or am I just completely SOL and stuck with iOS 6 locked to the AT&T network until a new jailbreaking method is discovered for iOS 6 (IF that happens at all)?
Thanks in advance for any and all info and advice,
~Brandon
