This one really stands out this time. Nice shot.

I'm awaiting that kind of colors here. I was just up in Blue Ridge, GA, today, and there's not any color there yet. I'm hoping to have time to go again in a couple of weeks. I'll just go with a toned B&W from the orchards instead.

Sluff.
I've been absent for a while and haven't really had time to do much on the photographic front. I saw this in one of my favourite shops the other day and had to buy it. There are a few more I'd like to get but at £16 a pop I think I'll get lynched if too many appear. Questions will be asked and the answers will not be liked....

It took four guys to mend a hole in the road: two to shovel hot tarmac and two to present 'stop' and 'go' lollipop signs to oncoming traffic...

Here in Australia, you have to undertake a certificate course to even hold one of those! Then you get paid about $1400 a week for being able to turn a sign around in synchronicity with another guy...

Great Salt Lake

a few months back I made the not-too-bright decision to take a mid-summer, mid-day hike on to the flats of the Great Salt Lake. If you haven't been, it's an awe-inspiring place. But consider going on a less than scorching day - and take lots of water.
