I have been using my 5 for about 2 weeks now and I had to use my wife's iphone 4 for a bit today. It feels like a big square heavy brick in my hand. It is amazing how quickly we adjust to the lighter longer feel of the new iphone 5.

THe iphone 5 just feels right now lighter more elegant.

I had a 4s before the 5.

I still remember when, 2 weeks after buying my iPhone 4 in 2010, I picked up my old iPhone 3 and realized it had changed in my mind from "delightfully smooth" to simply "soap-like."

Funny how quickly your perspective shifts.

Really begs the question "What's the point of improvement if we're only going to get used to everything?" :p

Having said that, I still miss the solid feel of the 4. I like how light the 5 is but the 4 seemed so much more substantial in my hand and pocket.

At least it won't bend in half when you sit on it.

I hated the iphone 5 weight when I first got it. Since using it I hate my old 4s , it's so heavy!

I love my 5, I am still trying to get used to the weight though, nearly dropped it once.

Your wife should have the iPhone 5 and you should have the old beater 4. That's just how it should be. :)

I think the 5 looks amazing. Just the right weight & size.
When I see the 4/4S I can't help but think how stumpy & heavy it is...so 2010!!!

I offered to get her a five but she is used to her 4 and resistant to any change she did not want me to mess with her phone which she loves! LOL SOOOO I got the 5! Sold my 4s and have not looked back!

I had the same thought as I was getting my 4 ready to ship out. I had been using my 5 for just about two weeks by then, and I was shocked at how heavy the 4 felt. It's still a beautiful phone, but wow, heavy!

I miss the weight, which to me correlates to rock-solid construction (not that the 5 is lacking that). I do not miss the short and now seemingly stubby figure of the 4s.

Using an old 4S until I get my iPhone 5 replacement. Yeah, it really does feel like a brick compared to the 5.

It is a funny phenomenon. My wife is still on the 4S and I can report the same feeling.

But I have a hunch we're gonna hear a lot of the exact opposite when the iPad Mini gets into people's hands.

Kinda helps me understand people that had bigger phone screens back when the 4 come out saying that the screen just looks short and is brick like....even though they are still just dumb fandroids lol :D

Yeah, and with 29 dollars you fix that. How much to fix a bent iPhone 5?

it wasnt a contest.. just was saying yeah it doesnt bend.. but it can shatter.

when the iphone 4 came out.. it was real expensive to replace the back.. give it some time too... and after another generation with the same body.. im sure it will be $29

huh... the point is the weight? not the screen size.

One thing that is abit anoying, is when you have a black'ish background and the room is dimmed. I reach for the phone on the table, push the power button on the phone on the table and nothing happens, i push again, nothing... then i realise i am looking at the back of it. The two glas panels on the top and bottom makes it look like i am look at the screen.
