Just like those adorable puppies you're promised if you send £700 via Western Money Order.

The puppies do not exist!

Wire transfer = no no. If it was paypal I would trust it slightly more since you could dispute the charges.

Wow, I spoke with a CS rep from a different website which was selling iPhones for cheap and the CS was also Julia and gave the same responses. Looks like they have a network of scam sites

Love the picture of the fake iphone. First mistake, white box with the black phone. Second mistake, grey back. 3rd mistake, removable battery cover on back. 4th mistake, too wide. 5th mistake camera and flash in wrong place. 6th mistake, screen cleaning cloth over box so you really cant see name on box. So yea, it looks legit to me!

Exactly! Anyone with half a brain can tell that's not even an iPhone 5, but a badly photoshopped knockoff that doesn't even look anything like the real thing. Wonder how many people still fell for it?

If it's too good to be true it usually is.

Being the exception to these rules is a rarity.

Ok, it's an old topic, but there are still plenty of scam sites out there.

Fist, you NOT safe with paypal. See, the scammer can send you something, even an empty box. As long as they have an online track record you will NOT get your money back.

But this is not how it usually works. Normal is:

1. You buy product X and pay, usually Western Union or Wire Transfer.

2. After a few days you get an email about a 'Problem', usually stuck in customs, or model suddenly sold out, but a more expensive model is there for just $ X more. Soooo sorry, can't do refunds.

3. After you paid there is still a slight other problem, but $x can fix that....

That goes on till you get suspicious.
