The timing certainly is interesting. It seems like Apple usually reserves x.1.0 releases to coincide with an event or product release, which usually don't happen between November-January if I recall correctly.
Perhaps they are moving to a new cycle.

The timing certainly is interesting. It seems like Apple usually reserves x.1.0 releases to coincide with an event or product release, which usually don't happen between November-January if I recall correctly.
Perhaps they are moving to a new cycle.
My bet is they will appear tomorrow, since no one is supposed to have either of those devices until tomorrow.
They spread the lock screen media controls out across the width of the screen rather than scrunched up in the middle. They're as spread out as in the Music app now.
interesting... there where 3 betas for iOS 5.1 and it did not come out till next year in final form. Same thing most likely in this case?

no chance of that happening.. maybe a iTunes 10.7.1 to support the ipad mini and ipad 4.. fix the missing icon when syncing either device.
You can't see the release notes unless you're a developer.
Not saying whats in release notes but lets just say not much. I can assure you whatever your looking for is not in there.
Remember mini or 4th gen buyers....
If you 'upgrade' to this 6.1 release and then backup to iCloud, you will not be able to restore your new device with your backup which is what I plan on doing tomorrow.
Basically, I want my 4th gen to look just like my 3rd gen so I plan on restoring it from backup. Unless 6.1 comes preloaded on the 4th gen (doubt it), it wont let me restore from my previous iPad backup.

right, it is...but November can mean any day in November, there was an article posted that stated end of november.
