I'm assuming this is the best deal on an iPad 4, right?

What about buying it now and then trying to get them to honor a $60 gift card either on or after Black Friday?

Price adjustment is 7 days at target

Technically it would be kinda difficult to get Target to PM this. I mean think about it. If you went ahead and got the $499 with $40 gift card the price of the ipad in their PM system is $459. Then if you tried to get the $499 iPad with the $60 gift card. Their computer system would recognize the ipad at $439. There is ABSOLUTELY no way they will PM for a Gift Card deal unless the original deal was no gift card and then you wanted to get the gift card PM. You will be stuck arguing with a manager about it.

No ONE will PM Black Friday Prices. It's in the fine print of all the ad's.

This is a awesome deal if they have the 32gb LTE model I am doing this

Please spread the word and tell people to NOT buy a 16 GB iPad. I went from 64 to 32 between generations and barely feel comfortable with that. I have a 16 GB iPhone 4S and it KILLS me, especially if I want to make a video.

I saw this and am considering it. My iPad 4 is going back to Apple tomorrow for another reason so I may just wait and see if I can get one at Target in this deal. If not, just rebuy from Apple.

For base 16gb iPad 3 $379

Vs $499-$60 gift card for iPad 4 ($440).

$60 difference.

I would go with iPad 4.

Don't forget that if you use the Target Redcard, that's 5% ($25 in your case) off. So the difference would be $35 instead of $60.

That's what I thought...I actually have the 32GB, so I'd go for that, but the math is the same....
I have until Jan 9, 2013 to return my refurb so hopefully I can get in on this Target deal.

The ad shows only the 16GB version, right? Would Target also offer the other versions with the gift card deal?

I have a 32GB refurbished 3rd gen. that I bought for $469. I would like the 4, but it's moot for me even if the 32GB is available. I live too far from a Target to make it worthwhile, not to mention fighting the crowd and the uncertainty of availability.

The $60 gift card with the purchase of any iPad (except iPad Mini).

Has anyone heard if this deal will be online or not? Also, will this sale be Thanksgiving night or the morning of Black Friday?

So can I buy the iPad tomorrow at Target and then "return" it on Black Friday and get the $60 gift card? Normally I would think the answer is yes but nt sure if its different cuz of Black Friday.

Going into a retail store on Black Friday or even thanksgiving sounds like a nightmare. If I was in there for more than 3 hours I'd start doing the math on how much my time is worth.

According to Target's Price Match policy, "Price matches for prices offered Nov. 22–24 by Target, Target.com or a competitor are excluded."

Thanks for the info...

Was thinking to get one tomorrow amd then just go in on Friday and try to "exchange" and get the deal as I was planning on buying one this week anyway. Just don't wanna fight the lines. Would be easier to just go up to customer service and try and get the gift card.

Best Buy is $60 off iPad 4th gen. So $439.

I can get it now, but not interested. Was interested before the iPad Mini came out.
