Pretty sickening how much faster other carriers are over Verizon. So sick of Verizon always being slower compared to others, especially AT&T

its not sickening at all.. it depends on the area
there is att users who are getting 25-30 mbps in some areas
sprint gets 30ish..
here is mine

its more sickening to see the ignorance of people on this subject. Verizons LTE has been around for years longer. ATT is new.. they have less LTE devices on their towers.. they wont be at 50-60 mbps forever.. sprint is starting out at 30mbps (give or take a few) cant imagine where they will be in a year.

My LTE ipad was getting 55ish when att launched back in march (austin was one of the first ATT lte markets).. My speeds have gone down tow 40ish mbps already....

Simply put, Verizon is slower than AT&T and there is no excuse to be paying as much, or even more, and be slower.

Yonkers, NY. Both were taken in the same exact location, connect to the same server that's shown in the second pic.

Currently Getting an average 30-35down and 15-20 up in NYC. One thing I have noticed in the last month is that speeds have dropped considerably. Most likely this is due to all the new users of LTE in the same area as me.

At my house in Louisville, KY early in the morning. I'm averaging around 40/20 on my tests.

Looks like AT&T just switched it on in the New Smyrna Beach, FL area. Getting 60Mbps consistently.

I don't understand why people are grasping straws between AT&T and VZW LTE speeds. They are both fantastic. Once we get over 35-40+ mbps, I doubt a difference can be seen.

There is no clear winner between both. They both are ridiculously fast. If there is one thing that is correct, it is that Sprint LTE is a piece of crap next to the big dogs.

Unless you are using it in Los Angeles & Orange County in California!!! Verizon LTE blows AT&T LTE out of the water in terms of LTE coverage & speed. AT&T can only run on LTE 5X5 here and Verizon is 10X10

Adelaide, Australia.

I can't believe my eyes! I'm in Sydney and I've never got anywhere near those speeds. But you wait for when Vodafone turns on LTE in Australia. It is going to blow Telstra's LTE out of the water.

verizon slower than AT&T?

not in los angeles.

i switched my iphone 5 from AT&T to verizon due to lack of LTE in so.cal.

although the 65mbit speed test above are the fastest i've seen for LTE so far, with verizon, fastest i've hit in so. cal is 64.50 mbit.

The LTE coverage in so cal is definitely much better on VZW compared to AT&T especially in Los Angeles. Speeds are indeed much better on VZW too. Signal strength of LTE is also stronger in VZW. I have both AT&T and VZW iPhone 5 due to coverage issues in my general area.

The fastest I ever gotten on VZW was in Alhambra, CA at the In-N-Out Burger and I got 65.00 Mbps down and 20.41 Mbps up with a 48 ms ping.

The fastest I ever gotten on AT&T in Pasadena, CA was 24.93 Mbps down and 8.84 Mbps up with 84 ms ping
