I'm a locksmith. I have dirty hands all day minus the few times a day I get to really wash them well and outside of work. I know how it is. I either use my otterbox defender or the assistive touch button.

Is your iPhone new? Because if it is, you just wait a while - Come back in a few months and you'll be like "Haha I press my home button with all sorts of **** on my hands now and I don't even care! :D:D:D"

It's not actual button. It's the part where dust can get in. The small opening that lets it click

Stop worrying and enjoy your phone. Yes it's a work of art in more ways than not, but it's meant to be utilised more than glorified. It's ok to get it a little dirty, and if it really bothers you you can open it and remove it after a while.

Given the OCD you have to define dirty. If It's mud that would be a problem. If you wash your hands 20 times a day not so much.

I never touch any of my Apple devices with extremely dirty hands (after eating, greasy hands, dirt, etc.) unless I absolutely have to (ie. my hands are greasy, phone is on lap and I have to get up to wash my hands).

Not OCD, just taking great care of a great product that you invested a lot in.
