Anyone know what brand SSD the Late 2010 MBA with 256GB use?
I have had my MBA for just under 2 years and the SSD failed so apple is having to replace it (along with the logic board). Any idea what brand they are using?
It really irritates me that this would happen so soon. The SSDs are supposed to be lightyears ahead of HDDs according to Apple, but I have never had an HDD go out in under 2 years. Heck, my ThinkPad is still running after 6.
They had me buy a MBP and will let me return it when mine comes back from being worked on. On another note, what are your thoughts on keeping the MBP and trying to sell the MBA? I asked on the MBP forum, but I would like to hear from some MBA owners.
