Definitely going to post this around. I'm a New Yorker but when people say this and I correct them they just stare at me, as if I'm wrong! If you could care less, there's more room to care. . . . hence defeating the purpose of the expression.
My mom just says "Ok, you know what I meant!" and then I just repeat what I posted above lol.
On a side note that video is pretty funny. Especially the last part about 'Herbal tea" and he finishes with the "I could care less". Priceless!
