Hey guys, thanks for any help that you might have.
So I've been trying to install windows 8 on my MacBook Pro (e2011) 256gb + 500gb, and for some reason I've been having a lot of problems. First, the traditional bootcamp method doesn't want to work using an external DVD drive. So I created a bootable USB and was able to format the drive (500 gb in the DVD drive bay) to the GPT NTFS format. The error that I am receiving is that windows cannot be installed to the disk. That the hardware may not support booting from this disk and that I need to ensure the disk's controller is enabled through the BIOS. So I've tried just about everything yo get this thing to work and not this is the error that I get. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you
CB
