Very lazy seller - price isn't that low. Purchased that exact same MBP with about 10 months AppleCare for 1025 off eBay. Mine came with a Samsung 830 256GB SSD - had scratches.

I like the expansion ports it has, would like to know, where the seller copied that from:
Expansion Ports:
1 x IEEE 1394 (FireWire 400), 1 x USB 2.0, 2 x USB 2.0, DVI (Digital Video Interface), FireWire 800, HDMI, Mini-DVI, RJ-45 (NIC), VGA out

Just the generic eBay auto fill info - which is almost always flawed.

Then you are right with the laziness. Strange, that someone owning a Mac for two years does not make the effort to at least get to know the ports on that thing, but then again, I am driving lots of cars during the year and do not take the time to get to know them either. Lazy me.

Battery will hold a charge.

Sounds like the battery is going to die. I would send this seller an eBay message to ask how many cycles this laptop has passed, and what is the % of the battery from Max capacity. If it's close to 80%, I would not purchase it since you would need to add $180 (pre taxes) to replace the battery.

Get Serial Number
Ask for more pics - screen shot of the battery info
Any damage / scratches / dents
Does it include Snow Leopard discs
Does it come with the original box

When you get serial number - check it here - https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do

Thank-You very much Spink for the comprehensive list. :)
serial number does a lot of good thing.
Make sure the seller take a screen print of the serial number on the about my computer screen.
I was scammed once on buying a 2010 mbp 17" with seller sent a 2006 mbp with battery bulging, a piece of scam artist work at best, I end up getting refund from ebay, my loss was the return postage.
