Data Usage by sigterm

Does this app use ton of battery life. I just got an iPhone 5 and the phone is not lasting what I thought it would have.

I use that app every day and have not noticed a significant drop in battery life. If it did drop, it's so small it's hardly noticeable. Be aware that you will need to start up the app if you restart the phone or turn it off or back on, and when you restart a monthly cycle.

It's pretty damn accurate too, every now and then it's off by a few MBs.

Most carrier have apps themselves that are free and they usually include a display of data usage. I'm on VZW and that app provides exactly what I'm using and billed for.

If anyone's interested, below are links to several carriers' apps:

AT&T - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/myat-t/id309172177?mt=8
Sprint - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id491126018?mt=8
T-Mobile - https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/my-t-mobile/id418556551?mt=8
Verizon - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-verizon-mobile/id416023011?mt=8

May not be as "robust" as third party apps but hopefully just as trustworthy, if not more, at least for general usage stats, since they're the ones billing you.

I can't comment on that app, but I do use My Data Mgr and it's great for me. Extremely accurate as well. Plus, it doesn't use a lot of my battery.
