Did you order the flash option? My initial order was for a much closer window, then, when I changed it, I got pushed into the January camp, which is fine, just an observation.

Yes I did. It's said this delivery date all along. All I wish for is to get it before new year so I can spend my Xmas holiday setting it up.... Oh well it will get here eventually

Must have something to do with the flash option. I have a few video projects to get done. Was hoping to get this in before the end of the year, but I can push em back. Will be awesome to use either way!

I finally ordered one after my 2008 iMac's hard drive started whining. I'm concerned about the thing crashing with it being so old.

I decided to go with the interest free financing option offered by Apple (who doesn't love a free loan?). Unfortunately, I think it will be cutting it close to qualify for the no interest option. The transaction must post within 30 days of approval of the Barclay's card.

So I may wait this entire time, receive my BTO 27" iMac (with 32 GB RAM, 768 GB SSD) only to return it and order another one on a 2% cash back credit card. If I can't get an 18-month interest free loan, then I might as well get cash back since I will pay it off (I never carry credit card balances unless they are promotional 0% APR).

Here's hoping it ships sooner than the time frame quoted!

I've got the 2nd - 8th as well. I'm off work from Dec 21 through Jan 2, so I'm hoping to get it at least between Christmas and New Years so I can get things transferred and set up while I'm on vacation!
