27" iMac Orders in the Dec 31 - Jan 7 Range

It looks like some people with early January shipping dates are starting to either ship or go to preparing to ship.

I think this is a sign that possibly we may well get our orders sooner but the truth is this is the WORST time of the year for deliveries with all the shipping companies closing at random times.

In the other thread there are guys with prepared for shipment with early January delivery dates.

I don't think that you should expect anything early.

I don't see that anywhere. I only see prepared for shipment for those who ordered on 11/30.

Maybe i will call for having faster shipping like many does here.

Ordered mine on Nov 30th at noon (EST) and mine has always said Jan 3-8...how can you order 5 days later and have a smaller time frame?

Mine is standard iMac with the 2GB DDR5 graphic card.

I'm surprise too, is why i decide to show you here...
But i just make a screenshoot with my ipad and i realise that is now 3 to 9 of january

Ahhh and i need to host the screenshoot for putting here...

Mine is shipping - orginally set for Dec 27th - Jan3 delivery. Ordered it Nov. 30th around 8:30am.

Mine says 31-7 and still no credit card charge, still in processing

My order is still processing. It's day time now in China, so here's to hoping that our orders start preparing for shipment soon!

Well you know what, I had an initial delivery date of 21 dec-2 jan, which became "January" after an apparent misunderstanding with the Apple phone rep. I cancelled the order thinking I'd buy from a shop, it was a standard config + Pages after all.

The story is, today visiting these threads I saw many people getting their iMac I thought I'd get a shot at passing my order again. I kept the default configuration completely unchanged, no preinstalled software or other options.

Within minutes, the status page said Preparing for shipment. The delivery date still says January but I am optimistic.

I'm in the Dec 28 - Jan 4 delivery time window.... processing.

I bet he still ordered on NOV 30th, perhaps everyone in DENMARK had January ship dates. I'm not really sure if this means anything for us in the states. I really do hope this is a good sign for us!?
