Charge it to 91%, but no more than 91%. Use it until the charge drops to 67%. Charge it back up to 92%, use it until the charge drops to 68%. Follow this cycle, I.e., 93/69, 94/70, 95/71, 96/72, 97/73, 98/74, 99/75 and finally, 100/76. This will ensure maximum battery life.

Just kidding....use the device however you want to. People who follow battery conditioning advice are simply in the stage before they start looking micro scratches and returning their iPad multiple times in a desparate search for the perfect device.

I bought the verizon lte ipad3, mainly to use in emergency situations such as power failures. I've probably used it once or twice to get email. Unless you are a daily commuter or need it for business, wifi is the way to go.

I just use the Personal Hotspot feature on my iPhone to share connection with my iPad or MBA. I don't see the point of paying anymore money for a cellular model or the extra money on my mobile share data plan with AT&T (which includes the Personal Hotspot feature).

I have the Wi-Fi iPad. Most the time I use it in places with Wi-Fi and when I don't then I tether with my iPhone 5. My iPhone has free tethering and all you can eat data so I don't see they point in paying for a data plan twice. I don't use GPS on my iPad either so that is not a concern.

I have had the iPad 1, iPad 2, and now the iPad3 all 64 GB WIFI 3/4G. My Mini is my first wifi only purchase as it's intended use is mainly as a reader. I do not miss the 4G and can always use my LTE iPhone 5 as a hot spot if I really need to.
