Can anyone tell me if any of the UPS devices listed below are compatible with OS X?
  • APC Back-UPS Pro 550VA UPS
  • Belkin Line Interactive UPS 600VA
  • DYNAMIX 650 VA Line Interactive UPS
  • Eaton NV 600VA Tower
  • Fenton F800LED 800VA UPS
  • Kstar BM3060 600VA UPS

I just purchased the Socomec NET0600-PE, 600VA UPS and the System Profiler does not see it connected nor do I see the UPS options in the System Preferences, so I will be returning it to the store.

I am listing these brands/models because that is what is available here in New Zealand. Unfortunately, I am not able to find a distributor for CyberPower here.

I need UPS for my 2011 27" iMac12,2 (310W).

Thank you in advance.

No, we don't have that luxury over here.

Here is a little update:

Most APC, Belkin and Eaton models with USB port will work out of the box. I just bought Eaton 3S 700 and have to say it is a very nice compact unit that is fully compatible with OS X without the need to install any additional software.
