Title says it. I have accumulated several hundred DVDs over the years and I'd like to find a top of the line software package to convert these DVDs into files I can install on my 8 terabyte server. It is a Synology server and with it I can play most video files via VLC. I also want to transmit them wirelessly from my server through a WD TV Live media player. The latter works nicely with .AVI, MKV and, actually about everything I have run through it from the Synology server.

So, what software is recommended for use on my iMac to quickly and easily convert DVDs with the highest quality into the file or files I need to load onto my server? Oh, I also use the server to play videos I can see on my iPad and iPhone.

Thanks!
