What iphone size is ideal for you? (3.5" - 4" - 4.5" - 4.8" - 5.3" - 5.5")

5" or above is considered phablet (5.3" is the Note 1 and 5.5" is the Note 2)

There is a rumor that the Note 3 will have a 6.3" screen size.

http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-57...ith-6.3-inch-display-reportedly-in-the-works/

Samsung Electronics may be looking to blur the lines between a phone and tablet even further.
The Korean electronics giant is working on a bigger, 6.3-inch display for the eventual Galaxy Note 3, according to the Korea Times.

Samsung has pioneered the category that some refer to as the "phablet" segment, or something between a smartphone and tablet. Initially mocked for the size of the device, Samsung saw decent sales of the first big-bodied Galaxy Note, and pushed for wider distribution with the successor Galaxy Note 2, which saw its display grow to 5.5 inches from 5.3.

Samsung has continually hammered the point that the Galaxy Note has been successful around the world, and has been unusually quick to tout sales numbers as it justifies the new category. Last month, it said it sold 5 million units of the Galaxy Note 2 in two months, or double the rate of the original.

the first Note sold 10 millions
the second Note is projected to sell 20 millions (according to Samsung).

I would be truly excited to have my loyalty to iOS rewarded, by giving me the one thing I really want from Apple. An iPhone with a more comfortable & useable screen.

Based on trying my friends Galaxy S3 & Note 2, give us a 4.8" to 5.5" size & the iPhone will look & feel modern & up to date. Not to mention the amazing increase in sales.

I feel that a 4.5-4.7 in iPhone would be great. And no 5" phones are not considered phablets, anything in the 5.3" area and up would be considered phablet-sized. HTC isn't advertising the DNA as a phablet and to many people it isn't. It's size seems mainstream already.

I guess I'm the odd one out. I actually like the size of the iPhone 5 display >.<. 4.3" might be OK, though.

I'm down for as big as a display as they can make without making a device much larger than the 5. By my estimation, that would probably be 4.8"

4.3 would probably be a nice size. IPhone would be wider while still fitting into a pocket.

4.5-5 screen size here. I played with the note II loved the phone but it was BIG. GS3 was perfect however I think by cutting down on some trim a 5" can be in same form factor making it perfect.

5".

Also 5" isn't considered phablet. There are other 5" devices out there and they are not phablets. After using the Note 2 I would say 5.5" but an iPhone doesn't really need to be that big, if it has ridiculous ppi like competing devices at that screen size then that is good enough, but not listed in the poll.

I actually like the iPhone 5's screen. Sometimes I have to reposition my hand to reach the top of the screen while using one handed so any bigger and it would be a hassle to use. I use my iPhone as a phone so I don't care for a huge screen, makes the phone part kinda impractical.

Expected iPhone 5 to be 4.5" but ended up disappointed it wasn't.

So, yeah, 4.5" please. That would be an ideal compromise for iFans having to choose between a traditional iPhone and upward-scaling Samsungs...

I don't like the iPhone 5 screen ratio. Apple should've just keep the same ratio and screen resolution as the older iphones and just increase the size of the iPhone 5 to 4".
