Testing out my new 60D which arrived this morning. This nest was abandoned by Blackbirds a few weeks ago. The difference between this same shot taken with the same lens and settings on my old T3/1100D is really noticeable. I'm quite surprised actually by how much difference there is between the bodies in comparison shots I took this afternoon.

Found this pink kids' shoe in the snow at the local park yesterday. It's been cold around here lately (hence the snow), I feel bad for the kid that went home with cold tootsies.

I like this shot. Capturing them calling is not an easy task. I'd crop it a bit more, though. The bird kinda gets lost in the tree.

I notice you have a new 60D and a 50mm f/1.8 lens, coincidentally I am going to purchase these exact items soon. Can you give me a review of the lens and the camera? Great detail. The greasy spots on the left bother me though. My attention gets drawn to them.
A handheld shot with my ghetto macro lens (28-80mm without the front lens assembly). The macro rails are on their way to me, but I couldn't wait to see what the 60D could make of this lens, even handheld...
Definitely needs focus stacking to achieve much more detail though. I'll revisit this when the macro rails arrive.
