The back of the iPhone does not use Gorilla Glass. Only the front.

Does Apple use it? Based on gorilla glass's site, they don't.

Apple uses Gorilla Glass? I swear Apple devices scratch like butter compared to Android and Windows Phone devices.
The more scratch-resistant it is, the easier it is to shatter the phone...I wish Apple would go back to glass that scratches easily but doesn't shatter if you drop the phone. I'd rather pay for a screen protector than an Otterbox.
We need the downvote back, because that is a load of bull right there.
What about Gorilla anodized aluminum?
That's the most smug looking gorilla I've ever seen in my entire life.
Yeah, you just think you're cool, gorilla.

how do u think they got the gorilla to pose with the ipad like that? and look at the camera so good?
There already exists tons of great anodised aluminium finishes that are just a fraction more expensive and alot more durable, but of course Apple wouldn't wan't to pay for that, it would make iPhones last longer and retain used value = less new phone sales.
But not all of them are "compatible" with the Aluminum-Alloy used in your phone chassis. At the "molecular level", that is.
