How can I send an iMessage from my macbook that shows its from my phone number. My iphone 4 is still on iOS 5.

Is there a setting I need to change?

I believe that in order to add your phone number to iMessage on your Mac you Mac would have to be running 10.8 and your phone would have to be running iOS 6

Yah I know that, but I wonder if there is a work around or a hack?
