Question. Why do you even want to be a "fan boy" of anything ? Why do you "switch" your "fan" status as you switch devices ?
Why not just be... you know... technology agnostic. Are you a Black n' Decker Fanboy because you just bought a B&D Hammer ? It's the best hammer yet ? Drives nails in much faster ! Of course not, it's probably because it was the cheapest one of the shelf with a rubber handle to prevent slippage. You could have ended up with any brand hammer had any other been on sale that day.
At the end of the day, iOS, Android, iPhone, Galaxy S, One X, Xperia, they are all tools. We use them to get tasks done. I don't use an iPhone, I :
- Make calls
- Send texts
- Check my e-mails
- Chat with friends
- Play some quick mobile games.
No matter the phone/OS on it, I can do these things. I use an iOS device right now because I'm invested in Apple's ecosystem some and switching to Android would require quite a few adjustments and frankly, it's not like it would save me money or give me any advantages that would outweight the pain it would be.
But I don't "hate" Android, I don't feel the need to crap all over it all the time, nor do I feel the need to cheer on Apple or defend iOS or try to hide its flaws. Nothing is perfect.
Having to be a fan of anything must suck if you ask me. I'd rather just be true to myself rather than having to compromise my opinions for a faceless corporation and its product.
Poor louis.b, on top of being confused about the tint color of Pentile screens, he's confused on who he's responding to. The 720p argument came from
