key word is 3.5 inch bracket.. that is not for a mac mini.... what about all the other parts. Last I heard Magician software does not run on Mac's (does anyone know different)

drive works though based on other users... Samsung drives are supposed to be good.

It depends what you want to do with the ssd drive. If you only want to replace the single mechanical hdd with that samsung ssd you have what you need to do it. Just remove existing hdd and replace with the ssd. If on the other hand you want to have two hdd's in your mac mini with your ssd to boot off and run programs off and mechanical hdd for storage then you need one of these kits which gives you the tools required and the sata/power cable.
