No but I saw one in my old office the other day lying around broken, put's it into perspective that you could get 16gb first gen iphones when that is still the standard 6 years from now, I really think the iphone could do with more space as standard.

No sorry thats what I meant, the top of the line then is the bottom now, but I still think the bottom spec as of now should be raised, but then again I'm just a space junkie

I've had all the iPhones and the first gen was one of the best looking on the back. That's why the iPhone 5 looks great because of the mixed material on the back.

The original iPhone is really nice to hold with the curvy back, and the classic reason alone.

I wouldn't mind using it as my daily feature phone given the chance.

I have to say, I always loved the design of the original iPhone.

Congrats on the mint iPhone 1st gen. I've never had one. My first smart phone was a 3GS.

Yea I think the curved back was the best design. I am not the biggest fan of the new rectangle design even though I have the iPhone 5.

This is going to sound weird but whatever. When you hold an iPhone 3G/4/4S/5 it feels like a normal, ordinary phone. But when you hold the first gen it doesn't feel like 'just' a phone. It still feels like the revolutionizing device from 2008.

Maybe I'm just thinking of it that way since I didn't have an original one.

How is web surfing on it? Is it slow?
