Greetings, getting ready to sell my old iPad and was wondering if anyone had an idea of the cost. Costs are all over the board for similar items on ebay.

1st generation iPad.
16gb.
wifi only.
Great condition. Rarely left it's leather case, never dropped, treated very kindly.
Is engraved on the back.
Leather(ette?) case does come with it.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Yea 120-150 is about right. If not, you can always go the instant sale route on ebay or something. Right now its $112.

I just checked craigslist (in SF) there are a couple of ipad 2's list for less than 200.

I couldn't imagine the ipad 1 running you more than 80-100 MAX.

Out of curiosity, what does the engraving on the back say? Could definitely affect the price...

If ipad2's are going for under 200 then I wouldn't pay more than 100.

An ipad1 will be 2 to 3 years old and depending how much it has been used, the battery may need replacement in the near future. That is going to cost 100.

Buying technology is the worst investment possible.Don't expect tablets to hold much value beyond 2 years.

WOW, I think I got close to $500 when I sold my original iPad a year and a half ago. Mine was the 64 gig wifi model.

16 and 64 aren't really comparable. A 64gb is still great for traveling.

Plus a lot changes in a year and a half nowadays.
