Don't have to worry since there won't be any new iPads until the fall. Case closed.

How would you react if ipad 5 really was released in March?

I'd read about it with my typical nerdy fashion.
Then shrug and move on to next news item..

IPad 3 is all I need. Fast, light weight, brilliant retina lcd, mind blowing multi day battery life, and with 32gb... is plenty of storage.

I cant imagine them doing anything remotely interesting.

Earlier this morning at home just checked battery, was thinking I cant remember when last I plugged in, pulled from my photostream

I would take my iPad 4 and smash it to bits in front of an Apple store. That will teach them to mess with a consumer.

I would file a lawsuit against Apple.

They can't go releasing updated products willy nilly, whenever they feel like it. Once I buy my iPad or iPhone, the next release should be a minimum of 2 years away.

I'm joking, by the way.

Any place but here or there....
...

Shrug, since I am not the in market for one. If that was the case, I'd definitely treat whatever iPad I might buy next like my iPhone - ignore any subsequent releases after the generation I purchase.

I would be surprised and excited to see one in person! I wouldn't have any desire to purchase though, going to have my iPad mini for quite some time still.

I would shrug, and get in line to upgrade my iPad 3, all the while patting myself in the back for skipping the 4.

I would go crazy since my lovely iPad 4 will stop working once the 5 is released. Oh wait ...

I would eBay my iPad 3 and upgrade. I like my 3 a lot, but a lighter weight would be much nicer, plus I've been wanting a faster processor since I'm a heavy multitasker and use some of the more sophisticated productivity apps and work with large, complex documents. I would benefit from more speed. But I held off on the iPad 4 because I just bought the 3 last spring and I know a better form factor is coming.

I'm not sure what to think about the likelihood of a March release. It seemed like it was going to happen, but then iLounge and other reliable rumor sources said fall was more likely, then Apple released a 128 GB iPad 4, but yet we are still getting an awful lot of iPad 5 rumors already including components. This pickup in leaks usually happens a couple months or less before a new product release.

So who the hell knows. Maybe we're looking at June.

After reading all of the posts in this thread I realized that the thread title should have been "How would you react if someone made another stupid thread about an iPad being released in March?"

I'd shart myself from jumping up and down with excitement. Then wipe my a$$ with the ipad 3 and go get the 5.

It wouldn't impact me what so ever. The same can be said if Apple released an iPad mini retina model. I'm happy with what I have now and I'm not going to be bothered by any future products regardless of when they're released.

I bought 2 of the 64GB iPad 4's, in case I needed more space. Now that the 128 GB iPad 4 is coming out, I'm super pissed!!!!
