Yesterday we reported detailed information of the GeForce Titan, a new flagship GPU being prepared by NVIDIA meant to launch in late February. Based on the GK110 core architecture, the GeForce Titan would be an utter beast in performance and would reportedly outperform the GeForce GTX 690.

Pretty rad. The only real question, other than real-world benchmarks, is will it run in OS X?

TPD reported to be 245Watts (similar to GTX 670, therefore no 8 pin adapters/external PSU??)

It likely won't be supported in macs for awhile

Also

A) I doubt it can power one without modifications (safetly)
B) drivers as always

It's also gonna be 750+$$ and will be out of stock for about a month or so after release

Hopefully NVidia helps us out with drivers.

I'm interested in upgrading my 670, but I'd prefer not to deal with the downsides of SLI (eg 690) and the insane power draw, even though I have an external PSU.

This bad boy will not run on a mac. And sounds like a limited run before the gtx 780 launch so apple will never build drivers for it.

You need to upgrade your 670?? I need to upgrade my 5870.
What the hell are you running? Dual 30"? I am assuming you are needing the power for games as the 5xx series is better GPGPU.

I'm wanting to upgrade my 5870 to (I think) a 570. How much boost do you think there might be running OpenCL?

I want to put the 670 in another computer. Also, long term I'm going to get a DL-DVI monitor and try to run games at those resolutions.
