How about postings for:
OpenGL Core 4.0+ - it's pathetic in OS X
Finder HFS+ - C'mon, work out the ZFS licensing issues (or something), HFS+ is beyond long in the tooth. As HDD's become cheaper and larger along w/ the surge in NAS's in consumer homes, ZFS would be perfect for large volumes.
Multiple Display's - Fullscreen "linen-ing out" secondary displays, why not maximize desktop real estate with full screen on multiple displays, or not negate the secondary display? It's meant to maximize desktop real estate, not take it away. Improve multiple display system support.
Networking Protocols - Fix AFP and SAMBA (10.8 improved a bit, still a hot crossover mess)
"Mission Control" - Craig Federighi "baby" needs a spanking. Thankfully 10.8 brought back 10.6-esque "Exposé" by ungrouping, but if it weren't for "TotalSpaces" adding 10.5/6 grid "Spaces", I'd still be on my 10.6 partition 99% of the time (100% if it weren't for lacking iCloud integration).
Social Media - Don't use it, don't need it. Even unused, it still loads in the background, eating up resources. Many threads on this topic, called "bloatware". Facebook in Aperture? I don't know a serious photographer who uses Facebook as clients would have to sign off on use of their images (this is for headshots, photographer can use own images but serves little purpose for business), Facebook "Likes" don't equal business (a thread here with a bunch of us chimed in on how many Facebook "fans" expected free services). It's social media, not business media, keep it to iPhoto and work on an Aperture 4.0 overhaul.
GUI Eye-candy- Unless it serves a purpose other than eating up resources and requiring more RAM, toss it.
iPhoto - Add back "Time Machine" support to restore individual pics/events/albums that ver. 9 removed. I don't want to restore my entire library because my wife or kid deleted/trashed pics. Every core app - Open the app, click on "Time Machine", restore lost media (Mail, Contacts, etc do such, why remove it from a popular core app?)
Mail - Overhaul, improve enterprise support, better rules and organization, clean it up.
Messages - Fix the incessant bug that loads deleted [blank] messages with random phone numbers with every launch.
Aperture 4.0 - Update, see above.
Notes and Reminders - Combine the two, or such, reminders makes notes a big redundant.
Messages/iChat - Bring back the "Answering Machine" feature from the Leopard beta's.
Safari - Organize bookmarks by name, search for duplicate bookmarks. Such a simple feature that's been needed for a long time.
Dashboard - You can place widgets permanently on the desktop with a tweak, but not natively.
Software Updates via "App Store" - Snow Leopard had it right, don't mix OS X Core updates with the "App Store", can be confusing for non-techies.
iWork '09 and iLife '11 - the dates state it all.
...and for the love of all things holy, ditch the skeuomorphism. Thank god for "Mountain Tweaks", removed Calendar and Contacts eye candy, back to 10.6 is a breath of fresh air.
Sorry for the points, as a developer I've written these up to Apple (nicely of course) since 10.7, even to a few buds at Cupertino who can bring some of these points to the attention of the engineers and designers. Before Apple begins adding half-baked features into OS X (Siri is still "beta" on iOS in my opinion), fix OS X. God, hire back Bertrand Serlet and fire Craig Federighi. You gots da money, throw it at him.

Perfect for the deaf (or combine FaceTime and Messages)The new iChat answering preference tab allows users to record a Video greeting to serve as an answering message when users are away from their desk. The caller may then leave a message.
