Good evening chaps,
So here are my questions:
- Is there a way to have the iTunes from the PC and the Mini SHARE the same media folder on the external drive plugged into the Mini?
- How else could it be done that the Mini has all the files for home sharing and the big PC has access to all the files for syncing to several iPads and iPhones?
If it cant be done, I was thinking a NAS? Not sure.
If NAS is the best then it would have to be a big one as my friends library is growing rapidly and the 3TB will be reached soon.
So another question: Can I set up a 6TB raid, where the media folder will be located for both machines? Can this raid then be mirrored so that there is a backup? im guessing it would have to be a 4bay raid array, but those are expensive. Other ways?
