As you can see from the screen shots it shows that "other" is taking up over 200 gb so i went to my computer and saw that my "user" folder was taking up 229 gb so i clicked on that and saw the next screenshot (AMJ 229 GB) then i clicked and the next screen shot popped up but out of all the folders theres no way that its anywhere close to 229 gb being used...what is eating up all my space?? HELP PLEase!!

My guess is that it's based on file extensions, so the "other" files represent file extensions that don't fall into those categories.

For example, you may have a large .zip file but it doesn't fit into any of the categories, so it is put under "other".
