Doesn't mean anything, lots of maintenance is done without refresh, normally if new stuff gets released it will be just before they announce things and in the morning, not at night time.

No. It may just be a normal maintenance update, as Wednesday is known for that, as is Saturday/Sunday. If it would be a new product, it would be announced during the day.

After all those years waiting for a proper update, Apple will very likely use an event to introduce the new Mac Pros, especially if they are redesigned.

The Apple Online Store is offline everywhere, not just the UK. The downtime is based on where Cupertino is at, and the Wednesday downtime is often used for maintenance.

Uh, I think the US store went down around 11:45 PM Pacific time. That puts it at about just under an hour and a half as far as I know.
EDIT: I stand corrected, I was just informed the store went down around (approximately) 9:30pm

It went down at about 9:15PM cupertino ( Pacific time ) time as can be attested by the first post in this thread.

Thanks for the clarification. Store has been down for quite a while now. Is maintenance usually this long?
Not sure but I can say when Apple puts something new in the store it usually goes down around 3-4AM Pacific time and is back up by 5-6AM.
This is probably maintenance.
