Remove the background from the daily photos and superimpose on scenic pictures
blogImage1_overlay.jpg

Use "WhatsGoLa Camera" to show a map and interact with it to find Panoramic photos or snapshots from Google Street View. Gyroscope enabled camera allows you to simulates the effect of standing on a street as you look around. More than 1000 world famous landmarks are built in the "Quick Fly" tool.

Modify the overlay size, exposure, contract, saturation and temperature to balance out the composition and make it look real. Moreover, you may superimpose multiple overlay images on the same background.

If the background images come from the built-in camera, Google Street View, or Panoramio, WhatsGoLa can preserve the geographic location information for the finished masterpiece, which generates red pins on the map should you view the images from the built-in "Photos" App.

You can then choose to share these photographic "trophies" to Facebook or Twitter friends. You may even share overlay images to your friends so they can superimpose your overlay on their "special" backgrounds.

WhatsGoLa wishes all of you a pleasant and safe journey to anywhere in your imagination.

How to use Street View in iOS 6 for free?

With the release of iOS 6, Apple makes a big change to the Maps app. Although it has the cool 3D-view and navigation features, we lost the Street View functions. Fortunately, Google still operates the Maps API so that developers can continue to make apps from it, which also comes with Street View functionalities. This article introduces an app "WhatsGoLa", comes with a paid and a free version, that continues to give you the Street View functions.

WhatsGoLa is a photography app which lets you virtually travel the world by superimposing photos. The tool "WhatsGoLa Camera" shows a map on the screen to let you find scenery images from a given location. If Street View is available in this area, you may also open the street view - powered by Google Maps API.

If you like a street view, just tap the shutter button. Then you can choose to save the photo to the iDevice or continue to superimpose. Browsing Panoramio scenery photos is also one of the way to visit the world. (As this article only focuses on the Street View usage, I won't mention too many other functions in this app. If you are interested, you may visit the official website: http://www.whatsgola.com for more details)

All above can be done by the free (and NO AD) version which can be downloaded at:
http://itunes.apple.com/app/id546616462

The paid version even includes a database with more than 1000 famous points of interests, including the Google Street View Collections. The Street View page is also integrated with Gyroscope, which simulate taking photos on the streets. This short video demonstrate the usage.
The paid version can be downloaded from: http://itunes.apple.com/app/id535072463
You may visit the official website http://www.whatsgola.com for more details.
