Why would i want to use headphones to watch TV? i have a perfectly good Home Cinema system to pump that sound through ?

Here in the UK unlimited data is pretty much the norm on a lot of networks once you get one step up from basic contract rates, apple could lift the limit for countries that are not as technologically backwards as the USA :p

I'm in the UK! Unlimited data is pretty rare now, I had unlimited but when I upgraded to the 4s I had the option of 100Mb, 500Mb or 1Gb.

Jailbreaking is a reason to NOT upgrade to this. Bring on useful features and maybe I won't have to JB Apple

what are the features that you miss ? Asking so that I learn what I *may* be missing ....

:) :)

Really ? im on 3 and everything they do apart from the very bottom tier is unlimited data, and its an extra £5 a month to add unlimited data to any contract anyway

i have friends on EE and they are all unlimited data, only 1 person i know, on Virgin mobile, has a cap.

Perhaps you should pick a different network ? or not buy in carphone warehouse

Unless I'm mistaken, most improvements to maps in the US will be done server side and won't require an update through firmware. The only reason they had to update for Japan is that were changing how data was displayed on a device for the Japanese maps. The Loop posted an article about a week or so ago about all the places Apple had updated in the background. You'd really only notice if you lived there. I'm still waiting for San Antonio updates. I don't think we have even had a satellite or map error correction made yet.

I live in a smaller area but I have requested multiple changes and nothing is updated, ever. We have an area in a fairly large city that was recently redone and Apple's Maps are not updated but Google's are updated. This is going on four months, it's pathetic.

Apple should have bent over and handed Google lube to use their map data. It will take years for Apple to get to that level all because of who it chose to get the map data from.

It's a completely broken system and Apple just seems to be sitting on its hands.

I don't buy in the Carphone Warehouse. More trouble than its worth with contracts, I only ever deal directly with the network.

From looking at all those carriers, only three offer "all you can eat" data. Picking another network may be an option, but if only Three offer unlimited data (still have a FUP) I can't risk being without coverage in a non-3G area.
