What makes you say this?

I have to say I disagree. The Air form has been here since 2010. That is 3 yrs. The classic Pro is since 2005 (?) and people think Apple will discontinue it this year. 3 vs 8. Why would Apple move 2.7 times faster than before? (don't say ultrabooks--the Air is one of the best if not the best)

If you mean the Mac Pro, it has had its outer shell since June 2003, the classic MacBook Pro has its current shell since October 2008.

Knew there was a 5. Still, 5 vs 3, and the Air shell does not look outdated yet (maybe some of the internals do...)!

Don't wait...

I'm thinking on buying a Macbook Air tomrrow; would it be silly to buy one tomorrow or should I wait?

Thanks.

Get the 2012 MBA, I had the early 2011 MBP &b the mid 2011 MBA for 2 months and shipped the MBP to my nephew after two months of consistently grabbing the MBA. The weight alone was compelling, being able to grab it form the nightstand with one hand or walking around the house. Go for it now you will not have any regrets.
