Unable to enable journaling for my hard drive on ML 10.8.3

Since 10.8.3 now support Windows 8 for Boot Camp I decided to try it out but when I run the wizard for Boot Camp it says my drive cannot be used because journaling is not enabled.

I go in to Disk Utility, click my hard drive but the button to enable journaling remains greyed out. How can I enable this feature?

When I last did a clean install the drive was formatted. I guess I did not choose the correct format to do it in, thus why journaling is not available.
