Just wondering if the HT capabilities with the i7 makes sense - not a gamer here, just running Office VMWare Itunes iPhoto and IBM Notes.

Nice thing with VM's (I use Virtualbox) is you have up to 8 virtual CPU's to assign. Makes it nice for creating multi-core VM's and still have plenty of CPU power left over for the host.

I'm very happy with the power of my iMac, I can throw all the office, vmware, itunes, iphoto and more at it and it never slows down or gets silly on me.

With that said, I think OSX has become buggier than it ever was and not as stable all around.
