Been waiting for a sale on this app for a long time, couldn't believe it when I checked this morning to see it was free. If you haven't heard of it, the app is basically an extension of the FCPX interface onto your iPad.

This YouTube video does a good job explaining the app.

The perfect FCPX companion app for your iPad is FREE FOR A LIMITED TIME (Usually $25):

UK:https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/procutx-for-final-cut-pro-x/id596946635?mt=8
US: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id596946635?mt=8#

'PROCUTX breaks free from the menus and tabs to streamline editor tasks. This application gives users control over all the FCPX editing tools in one clean interface, eliminating the need for clicking and searching through the Final Cut Pro X menus. From import to export, PROCUTX can control every step of the FCPX editing process.

Features Include:

• Precision Timeline Scrubbing
• Quick Retiming
• Auto-Correct Color
• Color Grading
• Compound Clip Editing
• Import, Export, and Rendering shortcuts
• Quick Keywording
• Fast access to Tools
• System Volume Control

I saw this app when MacRumors originally posted about it. It seemed really interesting, but I couldn't see myself spending $25 on it just yet. Downloaded it yesterday when I saw it went on sale on Gizmodo.

Good thing I waited, because the reviews don't seem to state that it's worth the $25.
