Hi all,

I have read many threads and articles about how to do a remote install and restore of my Macbook Air and something keeps not working.

Very long story short, I have been using an older iMac running Leopard to use Remote Install Mac OS with the restore disc since apparently my MBP is too new. The restore disc is one of two; they are for Leopard.

Now, everything seems to go smoothly and I can access the disc from the MBA, but when I restart the MBA and hold down the option key, I select my network and the restore disc shows up. I select the disc and then... nothing. My MBA will not boot from the disc.

I feel like I might be missing a step, but every tutorial says that it will prompt the install after the disc is selected from the boot screen, but mine does not.

I was hoping someone could lend some insight. I am trying to do a full restore to sell the Macbook Air.

Thanks!
