Some of the high end stuff is really expensive though.

The best QR reader is QR Code City's Scan (MacStories' review). It's a free app.

The best flashlight is Lighty (Ben Brooks' review). It costs 99 cents but occasional offered for free.

That is a good barcode site. I am now using its Java Servlet barcode generator library. Nice tool.

I use Scan for QR codes

I use the 'Light' app for a flashlight, completely free with 3 modes.

JB and get the free Torch app. Much better than anything in AppStore.

No idea what qualifies as the best. But RedLaser is my favorite. Free "Light" from Google store is the one I'm having to my device.
