macOS External Shutdown

Is there a command in Unix that can shutdown computers externally? Like the command "shutdown -i" on the cmd in Windows.

Probably the wrong topic but im new so if possible tell me where to post this.

Yeah i'm quite familiar with "sudo". But thanks anyway
