My iPad 2 has rarely left the house over the past coule of years. Maybe on a vacation or two, or traveling to in-laws.

I said vacations. I drive a car to work and sit at a computer all day, so no need to take it to work. I have an iPhone for everything else. At home and on vacations, it is my most used device. I mainly use it for reading magazines and surfing the web when I am on vacations.

I have two. One work issued iPad 1(wifi) and a iPad 3 (cellular) and they come with me in my work backpack regardless if I use them.

Well the iPad 1 is in a drawer in work lol. I will probably upgrade when the next lot of iPads are out.

My iPad stays at home. Too cumbersome to walk around with id buy a mini if i absolutely had to travel with a tablet. I just use my iPhone when I'm out.

If I can carry and lift dumbbells around the gym everyday that weight so much more, I don't see why I cannot carry the iPad around with me wherever I go, where appropriate of course. :)

My large iPad 2 remains home because, while I love it, it's too cumbersome to carry around. The mini goes with me.

I use it pretty much everywhere.
At home, at the office, coffee bars, the local bakery, on travels, ...

I would love to bring it with me more, but due to sheer size it often is left back home. Hope an iPad mini with Retina Display is released soon, as I seriously need one. ;)
