Since it's 3 months since any activity in Who has the biggest iTunes library-thread, there might be some changes...

I've been cleaning up a bit, getting rid of duplicates and burning some audio books and language courses to CD along with a couple of (live) albums I never listen to, anyway. That freed up a couple of GB on my poor old iBook... :)

90 GB!? You must have good ears.

I haven't ripped everything yet (I'm holding off because I think I might want to move to higher quality) but somehow CD's don't fit into my budget as easily as I'd like.

Over the last month I have been in a streamlining mood, having reduced my library from 2,200 to the current 1,655. I am only retaining those I enjoy listening to many times over, not the rest which have essentially been filler material.

The growth has severely slowed since the Australian iTMS rumours. I'm not really buying anything until that comes online.

no joke, what format you using????

2605 - 9:10:22:23 - 16.30 GB

I've er, downgraded from .WAV files to Apple lossless. Still have 100s of files in .WAV format to convert over to lossless.

All MP3 or AAC, no lossless. Lossless would take up too much room.

90GB for only 10 days worth of tunes??!!! Those files must be huge!

I have deleted about 9GB of songs to save space on my hard disk so current stats are a modest 3514 songs, 12.9 days, 22.54 GB

I thought I had a reasonable sized collection.... until seeing this again!
Since the last thread mentioned above... I haven't added any of my older CD's yet - but some newer ones I think have been added.

Here's mine. I only have about 15 CDs. The rest are downloaded from iTunes or from a long time ago when I used to download illegally. (I don't anymore)
