iPhone 5, How to turn off voice dictation in Messages

Just how it says in the title. iPhone 5 running iOS 6. There is the little microphone button in the messages app and it gets really annoying because it makes the spacebar so small.

Checked everywhere to turn it off with no luck.

You'll have to turn off Siri to get Dictation out of the keyboard.
Very stupid implementation IMO. Cause, I want to use Siri, but I don't want dictation,
